Travel Trainee Award Scholarship

The International Society of ECT and Neurostimulation is pleased to offer Travel Trainee Award Scholarships to eligible attendees who demonstrate interest in the field of neuromodulation. The Travel Trainee Award offers an opportunity to attend an outstanding scientific program and interact with internationally distinguished researchers and scientists in the field of ECT and neuromodulation. This award can be used to offset travel costs associated with attending the conference, including airfare, hotel, & ground transportation.

    ELIGIBILITY:
  • Selections will be made based on strength of the personal statement, letter of recommendation and need for travel funding
  • To receive the travel award, winners are expected to attend the entire meeting, be present for the recognition event, and participate in the ISEN mentor/mentee program
  • Previous Travel Awardees are not eligible to apply
  • Trainee Award: medical student, fellow, post-doctoral fellow, resident
    AWARD BENEFITS:
  • $1,000 for travel expenses to the ISEN Annual Meeting
  • Annual Meeting registration
  • A one-year ISEN membership
    PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:
    Applicants must submit a complete application packet, which includes:
  • Application form
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
  • At Least One Letter of Recommendation highlighting the applicant's interest in ECT and neurostimulation
  • Personal Statement (maximum 250 words) explaining the applicant's motivation for attending the ISEN Annual Meeting and how it aligns with their professional goals
  • At least one Poster Abstract Submission to be presented during the Annual Meeting Poster Session if selected.
  • Submission Deadline: January 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • All application materials must be submitted via the online form
    AWARD NOTIFICATION:
  • Award recipients will be notified by email
  • Applicants chosen for an award must confirm that they will attend the meeting within one (1) week of notification of selection
  • Awardees who are selected and accepted but are unable to attend the full ISEN meeting will forfeit the award
  • The award will be presented at the Society's Annual Meeting
